The Wolves





So, I just found the coolest agency ever - The Wolves. It's all about finding unique and different people to model instead of the girls that look all the same, a look that people are constantly told to have. The wolves advocates the idea of having quirky, interesting models so if people are still going to look up to models, they're going to at least see that everyone is completely different and to embrace your own interesting traits. Above are just some of the cool talent that I found on the website - and the also have boys (yay). If I end up getting into the fashion/media industry these are the kind of people I want to work with.

Inspiration: 70s



So this semester coming up in Art we're doing what our teacher calls a 'mini year 12' where we have to come up with a theme and create an artwork relating to that theme. I'm thinking of doing the 70's, where I'll really focus on music and fashion and how they can coincide with each other. Here's a little bit of research I've collated today. I'm really excited to finally do something I want to in art - it'll be challenging thinking up everything all on my own but it'll be fun.

Update

So, I haven't been on this thang in a while because I've started a 'fashion' blog (I hate saying that, it's like saying that I have a passion for fashion... cringe) with a friend as we both would like in to the industry and thought it'd be a cool way to explore it. You can see that here, but it's not quite where we want it yet.
I have contemplated deleting this blog but I've decided to keep it more for me, to explore style and art that's specific to my taste. I want to start creating more, so hopefully I can show all that on here to - if I even get to it, I tend to make plans all the time and never actually see them through.
Also, I've renamed this to match my tumblr name - dishonestyouth - I like it, more simple.
