MBFWA just finished, but my pains endured throughout the week from not being there haven't stopped. Looking through all the shows and behind the scenes photos makes me realise that I really want to be apart of this industry. I want to see magical things being created. I want to witness this crazy, creative expression through fashion that is taking place right now in the world. People are having fun with clothes again!
Street style is such a huge phenomena these days and whilst some people criticize it, I really like the idea of people being able to show the world who they are or who they want to be seen as through an outfit. I often think of it a bit like Patrick McDonald does: "We’re all blank canvases when we get up in the morning, and we paint ourselves. Sometimes we’re surreal, sometimes we’re impressionistic, sometimes we’re modern.. it just depends on the day.” Here are my favourite snaps from the past week.
